Approximately 12 hours ago, Tom (aka Spinner), a Stage6 user and an employee of DivX, Inc., company behind Stage6 announce that on February 28th, all services of Stage6 will be shutdown.
ZOMG, I’m one of the fans of Stage6, what happened? Tom said that it is very expensive to continue the operation of Stage6 and requires an enormous amount of attention and resources that they’re not in a position to continue to provide. He doesn’t go into detail of what he means, but we all know what it’s mean, right?
One more cool service that Internet could offer to us going down? This is what happening, big company will swallow smaller company that have a potential to boom in the future, but for those who are failed to make such progress, will fall down eventually.
