RSSOWL is a open source software that very cool when handling all your RSS, and Atom feeds. It is so convenience so you can directly used it without any problem.
I’ve already used this software for about 6 months now and I have no problem using it. At first after installation, there are so many RSS feed which I don’t need, so I just delete them all and change to IT Review (since I like to read review about IT Hardware). After that I put all my RSS feed one by one into that folder. And look like this
Every time I open RSSOWL, I just need to press UPDATE (CTRL+U) to get the latest news from each website I’ve already registered in. Or by default it will UPDATE automatically after 30 minutes if you keep your RSSOWL application open (you could change this value in Preference menu).
If you like the topic, you just press the title of that topic to go to appropriate website and read full story, as simple as that ^^
Remember, this is an opensource software, so you don’t need to pay to use this software. But again if you like it you could Donate to support them improve current application.
